Death Trap?

I noticed about a week ago, a cat stealthly stalking the birds in my yard. I am a cat-lover, but they need to leave my birds alone! A loud hiss from me sent him scurrying away....not to return, I hoped. As I looked out the window this morning however, I discovered a slew of Mourning Dove feathers on the ground near my newly constructd water fountain. Have I unwittingly supplied the neighborhood feline with an easy hunting arena? Hmmmm...I may have to utilize Jubal's paintball gun on the hunter...
