We've had several days of below zero temperatures here in Coastal Maine. I've been thankful that I haven't had to trudge out in it too many times. Yesterday was one of those times. Jim was on a job site in Harpswell Neck and had left his lights on, depleting the truck battery. Me to the rescue.
The house was right on the water and boy, was it chilly. The wind, coming right off the Atlantic, was swirling around, creating tiny snow tornados near the corner of the house, as the January sun was setting. It was beautiful and I thought- What a shame that the owners, who are summer residents, never see this part of Maine's beauty.
