It struck me that this 40th birthday has been a common occurrence among my friends lately. I'm thankful that God has given me so many lifelong friends that I have shared the milestones with, some even from childhood.
Wasn't it only yesterday that I celebrated Mom's 40th birthday before heading off to Australia to get engaged? Now, here I am approaching the same milestone...minus the engaged first-born, thankfully. Time is a funny thing......and 40 is no longer old.
